Mark Owens

My name is Mark Owens, and I currently serve in two roles: one as the Honorary Consul of Ireland (Ohio) and also as Vice President of Marketing at Team NEO.

I first came to America in August of 1998 as part of a one-year scholarship program called Study USA to study at John Carroll University. The program gave college students in the North of Ireland an opportunity to study in the US, fully paid for 1 year. It was a life changing year for me and one that affected my life forever - JCU played a big role in setting me up for success.

After 25 years in the Cleveland area, I deeply appreciate the welcoming community, diverse cultural experiences, and countless opportunities provided to me to build my life and career. Add to that the people of Cleveland – some of the hardest working and most selfless people you’ll meet anywhere in the US.
